Wrap up - Stamford Tech Meetup

 

The first Stamford Tech meetup was held on February 24th with four presenters  from travel, theater and food.   Organized by Roger Wu of klickable.tv, the meetup attracted dozens of executives.  The following companies presented: 

Over 75 people attended the online video panel on February 11th.  The panel, arranged by Sib Law of Saxon Mills (http://rocketstail.com/hosted a panel discussion with Dana Tower (Pond5), Jamison Tilsner (Tubefilter), and Aaron Sonnenberg (Blip.tv).  You can watch the video here http://rocketstail.com/2010/02/12/live-replay-panel-blip-tv-tubefilter-tv-pond5-com/

We had a terrific networking event last night with over 50 people eating, drinking, networking and listening to Sugar Ray (thank you to Robinson & Cole for hosting us).  Everyone had a great time and the concert was a big success.  Here are the pictures to prove it...

The Producers Guild of America, with support by CT Digital Media, helped produce last week's panel on film production in Connecticut.   The PGA event, held at The Samsung Experience (a great gadget fest - go and enjoy) at The Time Warner Center, had dozens of producers in attendance hearing about the opportunities for film and TV production in Connecticut.
